Welcome to the Saginaw Youth Association! We are excited to introduce you to our dedicated Board of Directors for the 2025 season. Our board members play a crucial role in guiding and supporting our organization, ensuring that we continue to provide valuable opportunities for the community.

Meet our esteemed Board of Directors:

1. President: Robert Baker

Robert brings years of experience in community development and working with children as a coach of multiple sports. As the President of the Saginaw Youth Association, he is committed to fostering a positive environment for our members and promoting the success of our 2025 Season. Robert's leadership and dedication to youth sports play a vital role in shaping the future of SYA's football program and the community it serves.

2. Vice President: KC Jackson

A passionate advocate for youth empowerment, KC brings a wealth of energy and dedication to his role. Working alongside the President, he plays a key role in overseeing the operations of SYA, ensuring that our programs and events stay true to our mission of developing and inspiring the youth in our community. KC’s commitment to making a positive impact will be instrumental as we continue to grow and strengthen our programs for the next generation of athletes!

3. Treasurer: Rick Cruz

Rick is responsible for managing the financial aspects of the Saginaw Youth Association. With his expertise in finance and budgeting, he ensures that our resources are allocated efficiently to support our initiatives and community projects.

4. Secretary: Jennifer Thompson

Jennifer serves as the Secretary of the Saginaw Youth Association, where she plays an essential role in the organization’s success. She ensures accurate record-keeping, organizes and coordinates board meetings, and acts as a key communicator between board members and stakeholders. Her dedication and organizational skills create a strong foundation for the association, making a lasting impact on the youth and the community it serves.

5. Information Director: Nicole Jimenez

Nicole spearheads the dissemination of crucial information to families, coaches, and the community at large. From updating our website and social media platforms to crafting informative newsletters, Nicole ensures that everyone stays informed and engaged.

6. Director of Special Projects: Open
Special Projects Assistants: Alyssa Carman and Marissa Kennedy

Special Projects is in charge of promoting the Saginaw Youth Association and planning all of SYA's events. Through strategic marketing initiatives, they aim to increase awareness, attract participants and vendors, and maximize the impact of our events.

7. Parliamentarian: Coco Hinojos

Coco plays a pivotal role in upholding proper procedures during meetings. Some of his responsibilities include interpreting and enforcing bylaws, advising on parliamentary matters, and ensuring fairness and order in discussions and voting.

8. Cheer Directors: Tiffany Corbett

As the Director of Cheer, Tiffany is the driving force behind all things spirited and uplifting within our youth association. From organizing pep rallies to coordinating cheerleading squads and promoting team spirit at events, she works hard to ensure that positivity radiates throughout our organization.

9. Director of Football: Cody Duskey

With a passion for mentoring young athletes, Cody oversees the football program, ensuring that players receive high-quality coaching, a positive experience, and the opportunity to develop both their athletic skills and personal character. He works closely with coaches, volunteers, and families to maintain a supportive and inclusive environment where children can learn the values of teamwork, discipline, and leadership. 

10. Field & Maintenance: AJ Ramirez
Field & Maintenance Assistants: Aaron Carrier, Jacob Pitcher, Rickie Gray, and Donnie Carman

Responsible for ensuring that our fields are safe, well-maintained, and ready for action, this role requires dedication and attention to detail. From overseeing field maintenance schedules to coordinating with groundskeeping teams, the Field and Maintenance Director and Assistant Directors play a crucial part in providing a top-notch experience for our players and cheerleaders. 

11. Northwest Representative: Kyle Vergari 

NW Rep Assistant: Jason Goff 

These men represent our organization within the Northwest Texas Youth Football Association, they have become a vital link between our local community and a wider network of youth sports enthusiasts. They collaborate with other association members to ensure our teams adhere to league guidelines, participate in scheduling meetings, and contribute to decision-making processes that shape the future of youth football and cheer in our region. 


12. DOD Director: Devin Portales

DOD Assistant: Caleb Morgan

Devin works hard to ensure that football rules are adhered to at each match, maintaining a fair and safe playing environment for all participants. Additionally, the DOD Director oversee the check-in process for teams at our home field. As well as ensuring that everything runs seamlessly from start to finish. They also keep an eye on weather conditions to ensure the safety of our players and spectators during football games. They play a crucial role in ensuring that every game day is a success for our young athletes and cheerleaders.  


13.  Concessions: Lauren Travis (LoLo)

LoLo is behind the delicious treats and refreshments that keep our players, families, and fans fueled and happy. From coordinating volunteers to stocking inventory and managing sales, this role ensures that our concession stands run smoothly and efficiently during games and events.
